1.1 Brick & Mortar Legal PC, a California corporation (“Brick & Mortar Legal”), provider of the brickandmortarlegal.com website (“Site”) and services provided through the Site, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. 1.2 This Site is published and maintained by Brick & Mortar Legal. Brick & Mortar Legal may be referred to in this Privacy Policy as “we,” “us,” “our,” or other similar pronouns. Any capitalized terms that are not defined in this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) have the meaning defined herein.

1.4 This Privacy Policy applies only to Brick & Mortar Legal branded Sites where such Sites are delivered to desktop, laptop, handheld, wearable, portable, or personal computing devices. We are not responsible for the information practices of any other third-party sites, advertisements, offers, or content linked to from our Site that you may share your information with whether through our Site or on your own through any source.

1.5 This Privacy Policy shall be interpreted under CalOPPA, the laws of California, and the United States. You may obtain a copy of this Privacy Policy through our Site or by sending us a request in writing.

1.6 We gather and use the Personal Information collected by the Site as described below. We may share information you provide and information we collect about you with third parties in order to definitively ensure we provide information and services to you. The Site is not intended for use by children and should only be accessed by individuals who are at least 18 years old. In the event we find that the Personal Information of a minor has been obtained through our Site, we will use reasonable means to delete it as soon as possible.

If you contribute to our Blog, reachable from our Site, the information that you submit will be made available to others with access to the Blog (for example, other clients of Brick & Mortar Legal or those participating in or contributing to the Blog). Such information you contribute may be distributed and redistributed by us and others without privacy limitations and once published or displayed may be impossible to remove. 5.5 The Site may provide links to applications, websites, and the like (i.e. social media) provided by other companies and/or individuals. Further, certain functions within our Site may connect you to third-party applications, websites, or services through our Site. We will not provide your data to third-party applications, websites, and service providers without your consent. We will inform you and any third parties when your Personal Information has been rectified or erased or is subject to a restriction of processing.

5.6 Where we do not provide information or data to a third-party site, plugin, service provider, or support software (collectively, “Third Party Site”) but merely provide a link (ie: within a Blog post), such Third Party Site may collect Personal Information about you. You acknowledge this Privacy Policy and the privacy policy on our website does not apply or extend to such linked third parties.

6.1 We will take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. While we do our best to protect your information on our platform, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your personal information.

6.2 You acknowledge that the transmission of information over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

7. Do Not Track

7.1  Brick & Mortar Legal does not track its customers over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. 

8. Amendments

8.1 We may update our privacy policy from time to time by publishing a new version on our website. 

8.2 We cannot ensure that you will receive a notice of any changes made to our privacy policy. Except with respect to current customers of our business, we have no policy or procedure for providing notice of changes. Therefore, you should check our privacy policy occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes to our privacy policy.

9.1 We do use cookies when you use this Site and you will have the opportunity to explicitly consent to our use of these cookies.
